The trainees had a good morning working on their jibing in a relatively stable SE breeze that gave way to a more tricky easterly.
After lunch a reduced fleet of two Sabres three B14s and four NS14s headed out and when the breeze sort of settled down the Sabres got away at 13:38 with Wind Wizard leading from start to finish. In the NS14s Spinifex had a 33 second win over Viva la Vida with Sundaze in third and the B14s Phantom ran out of room at the pin to be over at the start and after an attempted spinnaker sheet problem fix lost it overboard and retired. Early Warning had a swim on the windward giving Jumpin' Jack Flash the win.
After re seting the course as the breeze had gone ENE the Sabres got away at 14:37 and again it was Wizard leading from start to finish. In the NS14s Viva la Vida took the gun from Sundaze with Spinifex in third after Noiseworks took a short cut and failed to sign off for a DSQ.
In the B14s there were lots of swapping of positions with Phantom leading all the last lap to nearly capsize just short of the line to let Jumpin' Jack Flash through for a win.
