After looking like a nasty start to the season weather wise we had an excellent day. With come and try in the morning (very light breeze) and the Scott Miller Memorial race in the afternoon. Followed by a BBQ to finish off the day.
With the new season just around the corner be advised that the lock on the gate will be changed on Sat 12th September and new Sailing Memberships will be available after the roll over on September 1st.
Very little wind this morning for our trainees who had some drifting practice. After lunch we only had a small fleet with the NS14s at a TT in Montrose and the majority of Sabres at the ITSABOAT race at Bellerive.
Non the less three Sabres and two B14s headed out with a lovely sea breeze making for a fun couple of races.
Jo-Anne Verrier, Sarah Michael, Safiya Davidson and Jess Smith won the Elliot 7 series at the Tasmanian Women’s Keelboat Regatta sailed today at BYC.
