Racing got away at 13:45 is a moderate 12-15knot southerly with gusts to 18 knots.
A fleet of five NS14s four B14s and four Sabres got away to an even start with three of the B's very tight at the top mark with Phantom just clear of Rocket Shipand Pinky and the Brain in third.
After a slow spinnaker set by Phantom,Rocket Ship soon took the lead and extended it at each corner with Pinky and the Brain moving to second.
In the NS14 class Spinifex took the lead and extended it as the race progressed, next was Hedgehog sailed by Darren Eggins and Alistair Lord after swapping boats with Melinda Lord and Hamish Lord who sailed Pumpkin Eater for the day.
Serenity was next in a tight tussle withHedgehog.
In the sabres there were a few changes with Tony VanGalen in Wetas up front fromRocket Man and On the Edge with Luke Spink aboard and lastly Ben Buckland inLMG making a guest apprarance representing the Buckland clan at our 50th.
While the boats spread out over the longer course the positions did not change much and at the finish Rocket Ship Adrian Beswick and Jono LeBiz were a clear first almost 3 minutes clear of Pinky and the Brain Kirsty Gray & Julian Salter withPhantom Steve Miller and Lauren Bird third 2 minutes in arrears.
The Sabres sailed an abreviated 2 lap course and so Wetas Tony VanGalen finished next ahead of Rocket ManMarlene Nichols with On the Edge Luke Spink next.
Spinifex Peter & Karen Davis were first NS14 from Hedgehog Darren Eggins & Alistair Lord with Serenity Scott Wilkie and Vicky Hine third.
The handicap result was a resounding win the Rocket Ship with Pinky and the Brainin second and Phantom third.
