It was great to see all our trainees out on the water to finish off this seasons initial training with learn to race being run after the Christmas break.

This afternoon we ran the Allsands mini series with five ultra short races and a good fleet.

Race one got away at 13:03 in a light northerly that gradually died out meaning the race was shortned to just one lap.

Then the breeze swang into the south nessesitating a change of course and by start time the breeze was starting to build as it did as the day progressed.

With the short course it was hard for the faster boats to get away and so the fleet was quite condenced with lots of close action all around the course.

After the five races it was Noiseworks Stephen Townsend and Jayden Gadischke first from Viva la Vida Darren Eggins and Georgia Ottway second and Wind Wizard Sarah Michael third.

Next weekend is our Christmas break up day with a pursuit race to finish off the first half of the season.

There is a rumor Santa might pay a visit.
