We had Sail our way on Saturday and the first week of training Sunday morning.
Two of the Sail our way ladies came back to join in training on Sunday in perfect conditions followed by a double pennant in the afternoon.
The trainees all had a great time and will be back next weekend with the great weather enabling us to get through capsize training and removing the fear of capsizing going forward.
In the afternoon we had a great turn up for Pennants 3 & 4 with six NS14s six Sabres and a Pacer and two B14s.
Pennant three got away from 13:33 with the Sabres 13:36 NS14s and 13:39 B14s in a SE breeze of about 8-12 knots with gusts to 15 easing off during the second race.
In the Sabre class Lauren Pitt had a solid win over Chris Keil with Phil Bloomfield in third. The NS14s had a very exciting race with only seconds between most of the fleet all the way around the course, by the finish it was Sundaze Sam & Lindy Bailey over a minute ahead of Viva la Vida Darren Eggins and Billie Nelson just two second clear of Pumpkin Eater Josh Eggins and Arabella James. In the B14s Phantom took two laps to get through Jumpin' Jack Flash but ended up over two minutes ahead.
Pennant 4 Got away from 14:51 in a dying SE Breeze of under 10 knots with the same fleet.
Again it was Sweet Disposition Lauren Pitt home first in the Sabres well over two minutes clear of About Time Chris Keil with Loose Change Phil Bloomfield just 30 seconds furthur astern.
In the NS14s it was pretty close all race again with Sundaze winning 19 seconds clear of Viva la Vida with Maritimo Lewis Bowen & Jessica Smith in third.
