B14 National Championships day 4

We had excellent conditions today with three races sailed.

Yet another SE breeze kicking off at 12 knots with gusts to 17 which gradually built to  17 knots with gusts in the low 20s.

The first race R7 a two lapper got away at 14:05 and for a change Snatch was held at bay with RSC Side Effects Renee & Rob Cordingley first ninteen seconds clear of The Nude Richie  Reynolds & Lissa McMillen second and Snatch Craig Garmston and Paul Fleming in third.

The next race R8 a three lapper started at 15:09 in a building breeze and things returned to normal with Snatch taking the gun 18 seconds clear of The Nude in second and Rocket Ship Nick Richardson & Natalia Wisniewska in third and RCS Side Effects a mere two seconds astern.

The third race of the day R9 this time a four lapper got away at 16:13 after a course reset.

By now the breeze was producing some exciting down hill rides for the fleet. Again it was Snatch taking the gun 20 seconds clear of Rocket Ship in second and The Nude in third.

The breeze all day was near perfect for the B14s and there were lots of races within races throughout the fleet.

Tomorrow we sail the final heat R10 with the forcast of light variable breezes it will finish of the series with a change of conditions.
