The first race got away exactly on time in a light SSE breeze but unfortunately the first boat didn't get to the top mark inside the time limit so the race was abandoned. There was then a near 180' wind shift and some very light breeze. After moving the start boat to a new location and re laying the course the breeze eventually filled in from the NE and the race got  away in a 10-14 knot breeze at 3:40.

Snatch Craig Garmston and Paul Fleming had a good win nearly two minutes clear of Rocket Ship Nick Richardson and Natalia Wisniewska in second and Jumpin' Jack Flash Roger Jackson & Luke Verceli in third.

Race two had similar conditions starting at 4:26 with Snatch again taking the gun from The Nude Richie Reynolds and Lissa McMillen in second and Rocket Ship in third.

Tomorrow will be races three and four.
