A strange day with very unpredictable weather leading to the race start being delayed until 14:00 then during the first leg a nasty change came through bringing very strong gusts and large direction changes. Firstly Phantom then Viva la Vida  and Serenity headed back in, Under the Radar lost the rudder and Noiseworks capsized while heading back to shore leaving just Avengers and About Time to make it a race. The race was shortened after the sausage and by then it was a light breeze. Sarah Haywood did a great job to survive and finish well behind Avengers.

On handicap it was Avengers Lewis Bowen and Jess Smith from About Time Sarah Haywood.

It was great to see Vic & Kristie Pearson at the club with Vic going out to help on the start boat.

After sailing we were treated to a feast prepared by Marlene Nichols with help from Suzie Davidson in the canteen to finish off the season perfectly.
