We had a great turn out of trainees this morning a mixed group all keen to learn. After lunch we had an excellent fleet with four windsurfers as well as two of the new trainees out as crew on NS14s.
The fleet was sent out to do a mini series of three short races in a nice Northerly breeze with five Sabres four NS14s four Windsurfers and three B14s.
The racing was pretty close being only short races but Early Warning took the gun in every race with Serenity and Sundaze having a great battle in the NS14s.
Race one on handicap Early Warning Ross Daley and Tony VanGalen first, Serenity Scott Wilkie and Bel Healey second and Wind Wizard Sarah Michael third.
Race two on handicap Early Warning first, Serenity second and Sundaze Sam & Lindy Bailey third.
Race three on handicap Sundaze first Serenity second and Wind Wizard third.
After the three races it was Serenity Scott Wilkie and Bel Healey first Early Warning Ross Daley and Tony VanGalen who won the first two races on handicap in second and Sundaze Sam & Lindy Bailey in third.
Next week is Training week two in the morning and Pennants 3 & 4 in the afternoon.
