MPYC sailers do well in Combined Clubs Women’s Keelboat Regatta

It was great to see our club represented at the inaugural Combined Clubs Women’s Keelboat Regatta at RYCT last weekend. Lauren Keil and Sarah Haywood have been training over the past couple of weeks and did the club proud.
Moving from the yellow fleet into the Gold fleet and final finishing 4th.
Coming from dinghies it was a big learning experience mastering the Elliott 7s and sailing against the best female sailers in the state.
The event was such a success it is likely to now become an annual event.
