Almost perfect weather today and the racing got away from 13:15 with six sabres and five windsurfers then at 13:18 six NS14s and then after a mis start the B14s at 13:24 with a fleet of five.
The breeze was a very pleasant and steady SSE of around 11-12 knots with gusts to 15 knots. The new three fleet set up with seperate starts and courses is working very well with great close racing in each fleet and an improvement in the standard of sailing.
In the Sabres Chris Keil was out in front with Lauren Keil in hot persuit and a good lead over the rest of the fleet. In the NS14s Sundaze were doing exceptionally well with a good gap over Viva la Vida and then Serenity with trainee crew Safie up front.
In the B14s the 49er was having a great race with a massive lead over the rest of the fleet that had a great battle swapping position regularly around the course.
By the finish it was TBA with a solid win in the Sabres from Sweet Disposition in second and Apisca in third. In the NS14s Sundaze maintained there good lead for an impressive 3 1/2 minute win over Viva la Vida with Serenity another 35 seconds astern. The B14s saw the 49er with a massive almos 11 minute lead over Phantom with Bang Bang in third. The Windsurfers had Dan Ford first with Matthew Stirling in second and Greg Pollard in third.

Pennant 4 resail
It was a short turn around for the next race with no course change required though the breeze had freshened to about 13-15 knots with gusts to 16-18 knots.
The Sabres and windsurfers got away at 14:36 without Wind Wizard who retired. The NS14s at 14:39 with a great really close start and a tight battle up the first windward leg. The B14s started at 14:42 and also enjoyed close racing up the first leg.
The breeze fluctuated a bit during the race with a few light patches but some fun rides as well.
In the Sabres it was TBA leading the way with Lauren Keil retiring and Wasabi holding on to second, in the NS14s Serenity had a nice break out in front with Viva la Vida next and Sundaze back in third.
In the B14s the 49er was as expected out in front but after tea bagging the Kite only had a modest lead over the chasing pack with Phantom getting away from Jumpin Jack Flash and Early Warning who had a great battle.
By the finish it was TBA from Wasabi then Apisca in the Sabres, Serenity with a solid minute lead over Viva la Vida and Sundaze 14 seconds in arrears.
The B14s saw 49er first by over seven minutes from Phantom who was a bit over two minutes ahead of Jumpin Jack Flash only two seconds ahead of Early Warning.
The windsurfers saw Dan Ford first and Greg Pollard in second.
