The AM race got away at 11:49 with a number of boats dropping out, Bic 9077 and 9660 both DNS Phantom pulled out with a rigging error early on the first lap and then Buzz capsized at the jybe and broke their centre board. Also Scott Wilkie sailing one up had a swim as well as Mel in a Bic who also thought the water was too nice to stay out of.
This left Aquaholic to finish the course unscathed for a big win from Scott in Serenity and in the Bics Hamish had a win over Mel.

The breeze was slightly lighter for the afternoon race with four Div 2 boats and just the three Div one boats.
The race got away at 14:07 and at the first mark it was Serenity from Early Warning by mark two Early Warning was still in the lead with Liva la Vida second then Aquaholic third.
At mark three Early Warning then Aquaholic, Viva la Vida from Hedgehog and in the Sabres The Apprentice was building a good lead over Wasabi.
The boats stayed in that order for the balance of the race with the gaps fluctuating but no changes in position.
That was until the last leg where Aquaholic found a bit more of the fickle breeze to pip Early Warning at the post for a four second win.
