The trainees were on the water learning to control the boats and after lunch Pennants 5 & 6.
We had a solid fleet of four Sabres four B14s and 6 NS14s with a Westerly breeze all day which means a bit shifty and patchy with a base breeze of 11-13 knots and gusts 16-17 but with holes before every gust.
Pennant 5 got away 13:33 with the Sabres and TBA Chris Keil led all the way to get home just over 3 minutes ahead of Apisca II with Wind Wizard in third.
The NS14s had a close tussle with Avengers first home 33 seconds clear of Sundaze with Spinifex a mere second astern in third.
In the B14s the boats were changing position each lap with Jumpin' Jack Flash taking the lead late to be first home from Phantom with Bangbang in third.

NS14s Avengers Lewis Bowen & Jess Smith first Sundaze Sam & Lindy Bailey second and Spinifex Peter and Karen Davis in third. Handicap Avengers first Spinifex second and Under the Radar Melinda Lord and Billie Salter third.
B14s Jumpin' Jack Flash Roger Jackson & Luke Verceli first Phantom Steve Miller & Safiya Davidson second and Bangbang Scott Foster & Matt Clough third Handicap the same result.
Pennant 6
Pennant 6 got away at 14:51 with the Sabres and again it was TBA leading the way to get home just over 3 minutes clear of Apisca II and Wind Wizard in third.
The NS14s were down a starter with Noiseworks heading in after the first race. This time it was Viva la Vida with a nice 1 min 26 second lead over Spinifex and Avengers in third just over a minute astern and Under the Radar retiring.
In the B14s Bangbang picked the shifts nicely on the final full windward to extend the lead down wind and take the gun by 2 minutes 43 from Jumpin' Jack Flash in second 26 seconds clear of Phantom with Early Warning retiring.
Sabres TBA first, Apisca II second and Wind Wizard third Handicap the same result.
NS14s Viva la Vida Darren Eggins & Billie Nelson first Spinifex second and Avengers third, Handicap the same result.
B14s Bangbang first Jumpin' Jack Flash second and Phantom third Handicap the same result.
