With (almost) everyone watching from on shore there were four ultra short races sailed in a fluctuating WNW breeze varying from 15-24 knots and the occasional gust to 30,
Loose changed had the course to itself for all the sabre races but went the wrong way and managed a DNF on the first race.
The three B14s Phantom with Steve Miller and Clare Dabner, The Turtle Nick McElwee and Jett Hilder and Buzz Jack Whittle and Finn Potter had their hand full but put on a show for the sailers on shore.
Phantom won race one from The Turtle and Buzz third. Race two saw The Turtle get the jump at the start and with Phantom hot on their heels managed to carry the kite to the finish for a win from Phantom and Buzz third.
Race three was Phantom again despite only two sailing the entire race from The Turtle and Buzz. In race four Buzz did not start and Phantom two sailing again had an easy win from The Turtle well sailed by Nick McElwee for a bit of fun doing a great job and won the clubhouse favourite award.
Tomorrow there are another four races and the promice of a more gentle breeze.
