In race training the trainees did starts and completed some mini courses. After lunch we headed out hoping to get up to three pennants.
As we headed out the breeze started to build from the north, there was a good fleet of six Sabres five NS14s three B14s a Pacer and a Tasar.
The Sabres and Pacer got away at 13:38 with Apisca II leading all the way to finish with a good 5 min 26 sec win over Loose Change with the Pacer next Wind Wizard next and Wasabi and One the Edge retiring.
The NS14s and Tasar got away at 13:41 with Viva la Vida leading all the way to win by 1 min 31 clear of Sundaze with Avengers in third 52 seconds astern and the Tasar, Serenity and Noiseworks all retiring.
The B14s got away at 13:44 with Phantom taking the lead on the first down wind and led from there to the finish 2 min 34 clear of Jumpin' Jack Flash with Early Warning retiring.

As the majority of boats finished race 1 they headed in as the breeze was quite gusty up to 24 knots and half the fleet was already ashore.
Next week is our last race week with the Elsy Trophy in the afternoon and an opportunity of our trainees to get out in the NS14s and B14s in the morning.
