Published Sun 29 Oct 2023

The day started with the Group B trainees in the Pacers first as crew and later as skipper and the Group A trainees just crewing. After lunch a very good fleet of six B14s five NS14s and four Sabres who were joind by a couple of windsurfers and the Paper Tiger joined the NS14s.

Pennant five was delayed while the very light breeze attempted to settle down which it never really did but we did start Sabres at 13:21 NS14s at 13:24 and B14s at 13:27. The breeze was about 5 knots NW but is soon moved to more of a WSW and gradually built.

The RO decided to shorten the courst with Sabres and NS14 at the bottom mark first time around and the B14s after the second lap.

It was Apisca first boat home from Loose Change in the NS14s Viva la Vida first five seconds clear of Sundaze and Avengers just over a minute furthur back. In the B14s 49er first Phantom second and Jumpin' Jack Flash third.
