Another good day at the club with the Trainees getting on the water until it was a bit strong, after lunch the Allsands Mini series with 5 short races back to back in improving conditions as the day progressed.

A good fleet headed out with five Sabres, five NS14s two Windsurfers and a B14.

It was great to see Safiya Davidson in a Sabre for her first race as skipper when Phantom was unable to sail.

The first race got away at 13:41 with Kris Bird in a Windsurfer first on handicap with Viva la Vida second and Loose Change third.

It was a tight even race with the NS14s having a great race between themselves.

The second race saw Spinifex Peter & Karen Davis first on handicap from Viva la Vida second and Loose Change third, again ther NS's had a tight tussle.

Race 3 was memorable with On the Edge Safiya Davidson first win as a skipper on handicap with Viva la Vida second and Spinifex in third.

Race 4 was Viva la Vida first On the Edge second and Loose Change in third.

Race 5 got away at 16:17 quite a long session and some tired sailors by the end of the race, with Loose Change first on handicap Vive la Vida second and Spinifex third.

Overall

Viva la Vida Darren Eggins and Billie Nelson first 2-2-2-1-2=9 Loose Change second 3-3-4-3-1=14 and Spinifex Peter & Karen Davis third 4-1-3-6-3=17.

A very hounerable mention to On the Edge Safiya Davidson in fifth with 5-14-1-2-5=27 having to carry a 14 after a capsize in race 2.

Next week is week 5 of training and more trophy races with the NS14s away at a Travellers Trophy.
