Some trainees got out on the water this morning for a continuation of race training, After lunch there was one longer combined  trophy Race.

There was a nice steady northerly in the morning for race training and an added Pacer in the trophy race with Jono LeBis and son Adam joining in. With the Crown Regatta on this weekend it was a reduced fleet with some sailors not having crews and either sailing one up swapping boats or deciding not to sail. The Trophy race got away at 13:30 with a fleet of 10 boats with 5 Sabres 3 NS14s and a B14 and 
Pacer. The forcast was for the breeze to swing into the SW at some stage and after starting in a WNW breeze it did swing during the first lap.

First boat hame was Viva la Vida from Jumpin' Jack Flash and Avengers in third with the first Sabre Apisca who beat one of the NS14s home.

On handicap it was 

Viva la Vida Darren Eggins and Georgia Ottway first Wind Wizard Sarah Michael second and Avengers Lewis Bowen and Jess Smith third.

Next week is pennants 13 & 14 on March 3rd.
