The trainees were on the water this morning including our new Bic trainers.

The morning race got away at 11:38 with 8-12 knots of N NE wind with gusts to 20 knots and a small fleet of 6 boats.

It was a small course but a quick way to get back into the boat and on the water.

The two NS14s had a good battle with BumpsJosh Eggins and Aiden Wilkie home ahead of Serenity to take the win on handicap from Wasabi Guy McDougall second and Wind Wizard Perry Caulfield third.

A bigger fleet took to the water for the afternoon race where the wind was dying but the gusts were still quite strong producing challenging conditions.

Phantom had a good start and had a good lead all day but not quite enough for a handicap win.

The NS14s again had a good battle but again Bumps getting home ahead.

In the Sabres Chris Keil in About Time held the lead all race from Grasshopper Lucas Upton and Wasabi in the first days racing third of the Sabres.

On handicap it was Bumps first Loose ChangePhil Bloomfield second and Phantom Steve Miller and Lauren Bird third.

Two of the bics ventured out but found the going a bit tough and retired.
