Training but no racing on 14th November

We managed to get the advanced trainers on the water with the novices on shore learning knots and studying the weather. In the afternoon the weather was too unsettled to race unfortunately.

Change to sailing calendar

In conjunction with Kingston Beach Sailing Club we have moved the inter club regatta to Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st. This means pennant races 7 & 8 will now be on Sunday 14th November.

Trophy races

A cool day, but the trainees were all on the water in the morning and a reduced fleet sailed in the Trophy races in the afternoon.

Opening Day 2021-22

Opening day was blessed with much better weather than expected so with a good turn out and a special event is was a great way to start off the season

New Rescue Boat arrives

The club has purchased a replacement for Midway Rescue which should fill the role for years to come.

It was good to see the OPen skiffs on the water in the morning followed by Lunch finishing off with a pursuit race.
