Day one Pittwater Regatta

Well we tried, a good fleet of Sabres, a small fleet of NS14s and selection of B14s took to the water for a 13:00 start, the breeze was building and before most boats could finish the race was abandoned. The breeze was gusting to 30 knots and the Start boat had issues holding position as well as all the rescue boats being flat out attending to capsized boats. We now wait for tomorrow with all races due to be sailed with an earlier start of 10:00 am.

Pittwater Regatta 2021

This weekend Saturday December 4th and Sunday Dec 5th is the Pittwater Regatta where we will be running four races back to back each day. We are looking to have a good and competitive fleet of NS14s and with interest from a number of clubs a big fleet of Sabres. The weather is looking very promising so be sure to enter and be part of this exciting event. On Saturday Night we will be having an Italian theme meal. There are great prizes on offer as well.

New change to sailing calendar

This weekend we intend to re sail Pennants 3 & 4 in place of the scheduled trophy race, we currently have missed two Pennant days Races 3 & 4 and 7 & 8 on 14th Nov so this will get us back on track.

Inter club 21-11-2021

A great day on the water today with the second day of the interclub series and week 8 of training with everyone on the water.

Training but no racing on 14th November

We managed to get the advanced trainers on the water with the novices on shore learning knots and studying the weather. In the afternoon the weather was too unsettled to race unfortunately.

Pennant 5 & 6

A great day on the water with good racing and lots of trainees on the water in the morning.

Change to sailing calendar

In conjunction with Kingston Beach Sailing Club we have moved the inter club regatta to Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st. This means pennant races 7 & 8 will now be on Sunday 14th November.

Trophy races

A cool day, but the trainees were all on the water in the morning and a reduced fleet sailed in the Trophy races in the afternoon.
