A good day on the water for our trainees and a few venturing out to take part in the pennent re sails. The breeze came in a bit more than expected bringing the new sailors unstuck, but they had a go and Jayden in his Bic finished both races a great effort.
Please find attached the latest sailing calendar, with re sail dates for Pennants 7 & 8 and Pennants 11 & 12 as well as moving the Pursuit race to April 10.
With perfect weather we had a record number of Trainees out on the water in the morning and a good fleet revelled in the perfect conditions for a double pennant after lunch.
We had good conditions for our return to sailing after the break, a couple of boats were out in the morning with race training and after lunch a good fleet ( for the first week back ) of 9 boats took to the water.
A bit light in the morning for our trainees but they got on the water. Santa came by boat at 12:00 and handed out gifts, some light food and then on to the water for the Allsands Trophy race.
After a rough day yesterday today was a beautiful day and we managed to get four races in before lunch and another three after going back on the water.
